She now resides in New Jersey. Education[edit] Crusie was graduated from Wapakoneta High School, and then earned a bachelor's degree in Art Education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.[1] She has a Master's degree from Wright State University in Professional Writing and Women's Literature,[1] her master's thesis, A Spirit More Capable Of Looking Up To Him, was on the role of women in mystery fiction from 1840 to 1920.[2] Her second master's degree is an MFA in Fiction from Ohio State University.[1] She has also completed all the coursework towards a Ph. D. at Ohio State University. Family and career[edit] Crusie married in 1971, and followed her Air Force husband to Wichita Falls, Texas.
