I have used cat5e and cat6 without issue. Cons: None. Other Thoughts: Buy it. Even though I have never had to repunch one of these, I don't think it would be of any issue if you needed to. The guy who said something about the bracket, it is the same exact spec bracket they all use for this type of patch panel. learn how to manage your wires well and there will be no pressure at all pushing the panel out of the bracket.
