On Saturday, November 7th, Gloucester High School hosted a Clean Energy Fair, presented by Town Green, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is an annual event which will consist of various demonstrations, exhibitions, and youth activities to educate the public on issues such as energy conservation, sustainable food systems, ways to produce green energy, and[ ].

Monday, January 27, 2014:  5:30 Flatbread’s Pizza, pm meeting Legends Room, Eastern Slope Inn, 2760 White Mountain Highway North Conway, NH MWVGREENTEAM ACTIVITIES: DONE Business recognition: We gave an award for Sustainable Business of the year.  Congratulations to 4 Our Kids recycling services. DONE 5/19 Green Burials: Julie is becoming a local advocate of the ultimate green action which also makes the end of life for loved ones a more personal experience.  We supported a workshop she presented in collaboration with others in Tamworth on April 11.  4/11 Bag It the movie: We made a donation to Green Mountain Conservation Group to make that movie available to students at John Fuller and Pine Tree School ( Thanks to Lara Preece, Kadie Wilson, and Aimee Frechette for their support).  Colleen C, Erin R, and Ray O made a brief presentation to the students about the GT and Noreen Downs did the same on behalf of GMCG in advance of the movie.  DONE 4/28 Valley Pride Day: Thanks mainly to Erin R the GT helped unload recyclables and trash at the Hampton Inn at Donna Woodward’s Classic annual event. DONE 5/3 Gardens: Jennie, Colleen C, and Colleen O met to discuss the transition from Jennie to Colleen O to manage the Tasker Hill garden.  Washington Street won’t be available this year.  Madison is totally rented and the raised bed boxes have been reinforced. School Gardens and Healthy Eating: Emily Benson of Granite United Way and CHOP and some of our members are meeting on how the school gardens can help with having healthy food available to children. JH Fuller has also collaborated with the Memorial Hospital. FUNERGY: September event in North Conway with over.
