Hello Bob Sorry you are having this trouble. To answer your last question, there is no driver available online because using your player with a computer does not require that you install a driver. The required files are part of the supported operating system. If your player is not recognized, it is not because of something you need to install. Please make sure you have tried all the steps in the following KB article: This solution provides a wealth of info for a Walkman that is not recognized. However, if you have tried all of the steps in the solution, the source of the issue can be confirmed rather easy if you have access to another computer. Do the following: 1. Connect your Walkman to another computer. 2. Start Windows Media Player. * Your Walkman should be recognized and appear in WMP as such: * If you try this and your Walkman is again not recognized, reset the Walkman using the reset button on the back of your Walkman and then try again (your Walkman should restart ). If it is not recognized on a completely different computer, service may be required. If when you plug it into the other computer, it is indeed recognized, there is an issue with the OS installed on the original computer and you may need to reinstall the OS to recover the missing/corrupted files.
