The website says multiple legendary musicians were communicating with one another four days before Weiland died, on Thursday in Bloomington, Minnesota, on his tour bus. Those sources reportedly said Weiland - whose drug abuse hampered his career for two decades - was not back on heroin, which was reportedly his drug of choice at various times in his life. But he had relapsed on crack.
