I got my i Pod from school ( Institute for Integrative Nutrition it came preloaded with my classes but it won't connect to computers, i Tunes, what have you, because you're supposed to use it for school. The issue is I'm done with school and I would like to use it as a normal i Pod now (especially since they have their own app with all this information that I can access on my i Phone). When I try to reset it from the i Pod itself (holding down the menu and middle button) it restarts and then says Loading Notes, so I'm pretty sure that all of the information for school is in the Notes section and it's somehow stuck in the notes section. Is it possible to unlock this feature? It seems impossible for me to figure out how to get it to connect with i Tunes on my computer and I wouldn't know how to unlock it from the i Pod itself since just restarting it doesn't work. It seems an impossible feat but I figured it was worth a try to ask instead of just throwing it away.   Join the i Lounge Community and the ad above will disappear., 11:26 AM     Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Arizona Posts: 7,818 Are you sure it is an i Pod? Does it look like these: Apple - Support - i Pod There are some fakes that look similar. What happens when you plug it into your PC with i Tunes? Does it show up as a drive? What's in the drive? Have you looked at restoring it: Restoring i Pod to factory settings Have you backed up your i Tunes Library this week? If not, you are risking losing your music and playlists.  , 09:44 PM .
