really needs to be more descriptive. does it imply that they have a static 20% be it neutral or as high as exalted?or is it a slight increase per rep rank? EX: neutral: 1% / friendly: 6% honored: 11%, revered 16%, exalted:21% or higher even really needs to be more descriptive. does it imply that they have a static 20% be it neutral or as high as exalted?or is it a slight increase per rep rank? EX: neutral: 1% / friendly: 6% honored: 11%, revered 16%, exalted:21% or higher even Basically, just as it describes, you'll be able to have Exalted level discounts for buying (repairs possibly as well). So even at Neutral and up, you'll still have the 20% discount. Could Haris Pilton be affected by this too? Basically it says if this character is your alt. Who cares about rep grinding lol @dawnriderbasically it says if your character is an alt, you will have epic flight at a great discount without having to grind rep with a faction that in CATA will be obsolete because really, the only way to grind rep with the alliance vanguard/warsong offensive to get to exalted was to do a crapload of heroics. (all heroics gave rep with them unless u're wearing the tabard)via quests-only you get maybe to revered, but unlikely to get to exalted.and since on CATA new players in northrend won't even quest till 80, they quest till 78 and then move to the new zones, that's even less rep gained, wich means more expensive epic flight.these little guys won't have to worry about that. What are the odds of having even revered rep with the dungeon finder and heirlooms and such? You'd get exp so fast you'll be in outlands before you know it. sounds meh if you dont get an extra discount if you are already exalted with If the epic flying riding skill's price isn't lowered, I feel many mount freaks rolling a Goblin. I've got the best deals anywhere! We've got the best deals.
This rediculously high-priced skill is required to ride Epic- Flying mounts in outland. Not very many will have this, as it is so expensive. Since the skill is 5k-ish gold, I would assume the mount would end up costing roughly 500-ish. For me, I think I'll stick to my normal flying mount ^ I believe Epic- Flying mounts move at +400% speed, just like air-transport does in live right now. Thats fast = P~ Archangel I really don't think making something cost this much is a good idea. Unless lvl 60+ mobs start dropping four or five gold a pop, all this is going to do is make buying gold more appealing. Who is going to farm 5k gold, not counting the cost of the mount itself? Not me. If I do get one, IGE will be involved. Ridiculous. People shouldn't be so quick to judge the cost of flying epic mounts. Right now 5000 gold is a *ton* of gold, however from what I hear, more gold drops off of enemies so it'll even itself out. I feel like this will be relative to the amount an epic land mount costs right now to the amount of gold that we're currently getting. I agree, If the mobs Will start dropping more gold and no doubt we'll get more from the new instances. But i was wondering. If at 40 we get the Blue mount that are regular at 40 and epics at 60. Will we be able to get the first of the at 60, epics at 70 As a level 70 right now, I can tell you that the week it takes to go from 60-70 is quite short, compared to what people think. Just quest. like mad. I think I must've done almost a hundred quests per day. Quests give you about 2g at lv60 in outlands, about 4-5g per pre-70 (68/69 and the xp->gold conversion from quests at lv70 puts quests at as much as 25g+ per. Questing = new gold farming. Epic flying mounts move at +280% speed, with the exception of the Nether Drake, which is the seasonal Arena Pv P award, which moves at +310% speed. I'm only level 67 atm but here's my.
